A couple of weeks ago, it was announced by the NFL that Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny was this year’s choice for the Halftime entertainment on February 8th at the Super Bowl. Many fans, including myself, were not happy! Earlier this week, it was mentioned that fans have launched a petition to make George Strait the new halftime show performer! A perfect choice in my humble opinion. In fact, a variety of petitions have surfaced online since the NFL made its infamous selection. As of this writing, around 1500 signatures have been collected in favor of King George. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny has addressed those criticizing his selection during his recent appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” saying that anyone who doesn’t understand Spanish has “four months to learn.” Even more reason to flip the channel during the halftime show! Will these petitions be effective? I guess time will tell! We can only hope!!!
