It’s a scam, and it’s one of many rattling around online these days. If you love to look at adorable pet videos, you may be targeted with a scam ad for pet adoption. If you play games online, you’ll probably see an ad for an unbelievably good price on a new PlayStation. That’s a scam, too. According to USAToday, social media use has soared during the pandemic and so have scams targeting social media users.
