May Not Work For Us…But…

So how does a four-day work week sound to you?  This shortened work week trend has been buzzing for years, with supporters saying the condensed schedule will work wonders on employee morale… and past studies have supported this, too; Iceland conducted a years-long trial with shorter work weeks, reporting that “…participants ended up happier, healthier, and more productive.”  Now, the UK is piloting its own program with 30 UK-based businesses implementing a four-day working week for six months with no loss of pay for participating employees.  If the study goes well, maybe the trend will catch on here in the US?  Fingers crossed!
