Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! This week we’re featuring singer/songwriter John Morgan, who is from a small town in North Carolina. He eventually moved to Nashville, and according to his online bio met songwriters Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy, bandmates of Jason Aldean. Everything clicked, and before you know it, Morgan had helped write the huge hit for Aldean and Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You”, along with seven other tunes. Meanwhile, Morgan has been working on his own career as a singer. He was recently chosen as his home states representative on the NBC-TV show, American Song Contest, and will also be one of the openers for Aldean on his upcoming Rock N’ Roll Cowboy tour. His One To Watch song is called, “Right In The Middle”.
