Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! Today we’re featuring Mackenzie Carpenter, a native of Athens, Georgia, who according to her online bio was inspired to begin to write songs by her father and taught guitar by her two brothers. She attended Belmont University in Nashville and honed her writing skills there. Earlier this year, she signed with the Valory Music Company and is working on her debut project.
