Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! This week, we’re featuring another Wisconsin-born singer/songwriter, Jordan Blanchard. He’s originally from Coleman, Wisconsin, a small town about 40 miles north of Green Bay. According to his online bio, he didn’t pick up a guitar until he was twenty, only about four years ago. But he knew what he liked, musically speaking, and that was country music; specifically eighties and nineties country. Since then he’s been touring primarily around the Northeastern portion of the state. Early in 2022 he won a regional Country Band Pickoff and got the right to compete at the Country Band Contest finals at the Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, where he took second place.
Blanchard has also made monthly visits to Nashville to write, record and network. The result is a tune called, Hangover, this week’s One To Watch!
