Hello, and welcome to another Hodag Country Festival Flashback! As we count down to the 2023 Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, let’s look back at the artists who performed at past festivals.
Darius Rucker flipped from pop to country music in 2008, and six years later made his first appearance at the Hodag Country Festival. By 2014, Rucker had three country music albums under his belt, the most recent being True Believers, released in May of 2013. Hits from that album included the title track, Wagon Wheel, and Radio. His fourth album, Southern Style, was also in the works, including the single, Homegrown Honey, which would be released in August 0f 2014.
All told, Darius Rucker appeared twice (so far) at the Hodag Country Festival, returning in 2021 (rescheduled from 2020 due to COVID-19).
