Hello, and welcome to another Hodag Country Festival Flashback! As we count down to the 2023 Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, let’s look back at the artists who performed at past festivals.
Lauren Alaina has been to the Hodag Country Festival twice (so far), with her first appearance in 2016. Her first album, Wildflower, was released in 2011, and three songs off the album were top 40 hits, including Georgia Peaches. In 2013, the song Barefoot and Buckwild was released as a stand-alone single, and in 2015 an EP called Lauren Alaina was released, partly to promote the upcoming album, Road Less Traveled. The title track was included, which also served as the inspiration for a TV movie called Road Less Traveled, released in 2017.
