Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! This week, we’re featuring singer/songwriter Warren Zeiders, who came to make Country music a career after injuries crushed any chances of a sports career. Zeiders grew up in Pennsylvania playing lacrosse and played the sport in college. However, a series of concussions, along with the COVID19 pandemic forced him to change direction regarding his future career. According to a story from Billboard magazine, Zeiders didn’t have much of a music background beyond a guitar he picked up and tinkered with in grade school. But he began to post TikTok videos of him playing cover songs, which led to original material and the release of the song On The Run in late 2020. He went to Nashville for some co-writing sessions, which resulted in the song Ride The Lightning, a huge TikTok hit.
Fast forward to late 2022, when Warren Zeiders signed a record contract with Warner Brothers Nashville. He has since recorded a full-length album, Pretty Little Poison. The title track is our One To Watch this week.
