Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! This week we’re featuring Jon Wolfe, a traditional country singer/songwriter who hails from Miami… Oklahoma. According to an online bio, he grew up listening to mostly pop music, but then his stepfather joined a country music band and Wolfe realized that he wanted to be a country singer. But life got in the way, and he became a commodities trader for an oil company, even though he still longed to be in music. In 2004, he began to live the dream with a self-released album. By 2006 he got his first of many record contracts and hasn’t looked back since. He’s played hundreds of dates in Oklahoma and Texas, released a number of albums, and his latest song is our One To Watch, If I Had A Bar.
