Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! Let’s kick off a new year with a new One To Watch. Ashley Cooke is from Parkland, Florida, and according to her online bio, she wrote her first song at age 11. Cooke later moved to Nashville and attended Belmont University, but after entering the revered Country Showcase on a whim and winning, Cooke decided to pursue music for a year. The COVID-19 pandemic hampered her touring plans, so she built a large TikTok following. In 2022, she teamed up with Brett Young for the independently released song, Never ‘Till Now.
The new year promises to be big for Ashley Cooke, with a new album, Shot In The Dark. She’ll also be one of Jordan Davis’ opening acts for his Damn Good Time Tour.
