Howdy, and welcome to another One To Watch! This week we’re featuring Nessa Lea, a Tennesee native. According to her online bio, she grew up in a musical family. Still, she never considered pursuing it as a career until she began working at a famous dinner theatre/restaurant (Chaffin’s Barn), and the owner offered her the chance to sing there. Her boss believed in her so much that she bought studio time in 2020 so Lea could record some of her compositions. Within a few weeks, she had signed a record deal with Curb Records. In 2021, her first recording, Bad Boy was released.
In March, an EP called Chapter 1: Sadness was released, including our One To Watch, Old Sad Country Song.
