Hard to believe the unofficial end of summer is coming up with the onset of Labor Day weekend. Temperatures are already noticeably cooler, and the kids will be back in school Tuesday the 2nd. Still plenty of things to see and do, Should be a great weekend for the family cookout! I remember my Dad pulling out the grill for the holiday weekend, always plenty of brats and burgers, along with his famous sliced potatoes in tin foil, and of course, corn on the cob! If you’re looking for activities here in the Northwoods, there’s the Crandon World Championship Races, along with the Crandon Labor Day Parade. Eagle River’s got their Farmer’s Market on Sunday, along with the Labor Day Arts & Crafts fair downtown. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!!!
