Shane Profitt is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Columbia, Tennesee who seemingly came out of nowhere according to Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Label Group Chairman & CEO. Profitt was signed to a contract recently to Big Machine Label Group Records in partnership with Chris Janson’s Harpeth 60 Records, so you can see that some big names in the music industry have faith in this guy. Will he be the next Luke Combs? Hard to tell, but he’s off to a good start with his latest song, How It Oughta Be.
