We are halfway through the month of April already, taxes are filed, and warmer weather is upon us. With that being said, we are now in severe weather season! And, here in Wisconsin, it’s Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week No matter where you are when severe weather strikes, there are some basic guidelines to follow to keep you and your family safe: Move indoors, get underground, a basement is the best place to be, if there is no basement, the middle part of a building is the next best place, a bathroom or closet, and cover up! Falling and flying debris is a storm’s number one killer. Pillows, blankets, coats, blankets, etc are your best solution to protect yourself, and keep as low as possible! This week is a great opportunity to put a plan in place and practice it with your family! You never know when severe weather will strike! – Larry
